Lucinda is joined by a fantastic team of individuals at Lucinda Fredericks Equestrian Ltd.
We usually have vacancies for Working Pupils each year, joining us in September with their own horse for an excellent training opportunity. Applicants must be 18+ and it is a live-in 1 year placement.
RIDERS
Ellie Fredericks
Rider
20 year old Ellie Fredericks enjoyed a fantastic 2023 season, competing Lucinda Fredericks’ stallion Britannia’s Mail, 8 year old mare Pure Trendsetter (part-owned by Liz Hills and Lucinda), and our homebred youngsters – 6 year old Sports Pony stallion Britannia’s Bijou, and 5 year olds Upsi Britannia and Upper Class Brit.
Ellie was honoured to be a member of the u21 British Eventing Youth Development Squad for a second year and enjoyed taking part in the Howden Way training programme, having been invited to participate with Pure Trendsetter.
Highlights of Ellie’s 2023 season include being selected for, and competing at, the Young Rider European Championships in Montelibretti, Italy with Pure Trendsetter, completing her first 4* event at Bicton International with Britannia’s Mail, placing 5th with Pure Trendsetter in their first Advanced at Aston in the 8/9 year old class, and ending Upsi Britannia’s season having had only one pole down and placing in the top 10 at 8 of his 10 events throughout 2023.
ON THE YARD
Olivia Sewell
Head Groom
Liv joined us as a Working Pupil in December 2023 and has recently taken on the role of Head Groom. Having sold her horse Blue Liv has taken the ride on Lulu, while Canadian owner Poppy completes university, with the ambition to go 2* in 2025.
Mimi Jones
Working Pupil
Mimi arrived at LFE with her horse Otis in September 2024. She is embracing all the opportunities that come with living and working at Rosegarth and the pair are looking forward to competing during the 2025 season with Lucinda’s support.
Sophie Bragge
Working Pupil
Sophie joined us in January 2024, coming all the way from Western Australia. Together with her horse Roo she has had a fantastic British eventing season to date, progressing from BE90 to Novice with numerous placings along the way.
Lily Jones
Working Pupil
Lily and her pony Penny joined us in September 2024. Lily is enjoying immersing herself in the busy life of a competition yard and Penny is adapting well to her new routine. The pair are working towards a qualification for Badminton Grassroots in 2025.
OFFICE
Jude Rosier
PA / Office Manager
Jude is responsible for all admin, HR and finance. She is in the office Monday – Thursday each week. Jude has an Exmoor pony called Jack, who is the bane love of her life!
Jo Taylor
Marketing Manager
Jo has worked closely with Lucinda and Ellie since January 2018. Jo takes care of all things marketing, including the promotion of our gorgeous stallions, Britannia’s Mail and Britannia’s Bijou.
