5 out of 5 double clears!

It was a busy weekend with 5 horses out competing at Howick and the Hannah Francis Wilberry Wonder Pony charity event at Nunney. And what a successful weekend it was with all 5 going double clear and placing! 

First up at Howick was the gorgeous Kalico, who was a complete star to come 4^th in her second Novice, meaning she’s done 7/7 double clears and placed at every event! 5 year old Upsi Britannia followed, finding the jumping easy to come 6^th in his Novice section, making it 3/3 double clears at Novice. Finally, Poppy von Maltson’s BWE Balou Touch completed our run of double-clears for the day to finish 9^th in the BE100.

At the Hannah Francis charity event on Sunday we saw a fabulous dressage for 28 and a lovely double clear for Willemina van der Goes-Petter’s Nicolai in the 100 to finish 5^th. And our 5 year old project horse Darling Van Overies Z (Teke) wowed us with a super double clear in her second event to finish 7^th. She really is such a nice mare and a pleasure to work with. Both her and Ellie’s stunning project horse Kalico will be on the market soon. 

I couldn’t be happier with all the horses – all brilliantly ridden by Ellie. 

And both events were super. Howick was very friendly, the ground was good and the facilities were excellent. We will definitely go back. And Nunney was really lovely with great prizes. Thank you both for putting on such great events.
