A wonderful Wellington

We had a great three days at Wellington last week with our young horses.

Britannia’s Olive, owned by Sally Johnson and ridden by Ellie, was absolutely fabulous. They were first to go in the 2* and jumped a beautiful double clear inside the time to finish 10th in a field of 85. Also owned by Sally, Diarado’s Daughter did brilliantly to finish 6th on her dressage score.

Upsi Britannia had another steady double clear with Ellie round the Novice before the 2* at Cornbury.

Upper Class Brit (Daisy) did a lovely test for 30.8 and an improved SJ, just a little spook for one pole, but she finished with a good clear XC to finish inside the top 20.

Ellie was offered a chance ride on Cooley Guiness, owned by Lucy Collis. Jumping a lovely double clear to place 6th in the 105 was a delight to everyone and he is now with us on sales livery.

But the stars of the show were Australian Working Pupil Sophie Bragge and her 5 year old Argentinus Roulette who did absolutely brilliantly to finish 3rd in their first International and first 105 together. We are super proud of this pair!

Next up for the team is the 2* at Cornbury.
