Challenges well faced at Alnwick Ford

It was Pure Trendsetter’s second 3* – and what an educational weekend it turned out to be.

Flags and boards seemed to present quite a threat for our twinkle toes and the Dressage proved tense – Ellie managed to soothe and support however and she still scored a 31.8.

The ‘flag stress’ continued through the Showjumping and unfortunately led to two down, but she stormed easily through the Cross Country, not only making the time but finishing inside the top fifteen.

Plenty to learn from and take forward into the next – Barbury!
