DOUBLE-CLEARS ALL ROUND FOR OUR FIRST EVENT OF THE SEASON

45 years on since my first ride round the Novice as a young junior and I’m still going back to Tweseldown Horse Trials!

The event gets better every year, and this year was no exception with flowing, galloping courses and excellent going for this time of year. It was double clears all round for Ellie with Upsi Britannia & Meg Pocock’s Hanky Britannia and Working Pupil Mimi Jones on her own Winnie De Fontenel in their first event of the season.

Not only was it a successful weekend for Rachel Faulkner and her team, but they then ran a 2-phase unofficial training day the following day with clear round SJ and XC, enabling us to take other horses back and use the incredible BE courses designed by Andy Heffernan. Upper Class Brit (Daisy) made the most of this, schooling around the Intermediate courses and now heads to Barbury with her twin brother, Upsi Britannia, for their first 7 year old class with Ellie.
