A win at West Wilts

We had a fabulous couple of days at West Wilts Equestrian Centre last week. Josie Corn’s lovely gelding Hendrix was our star of the day on Tuesday, jumping a lovely double clear with Ellie to finish 6th in the BE100. We have really enjoyed having him while Josie is on holiday. He will do one more run at Novice before he goes back to Josie to enjoy the rest of the season with him.

Faye Wilson then had a fabulous time on her gorgeous pony Prince, who we love having here on livery. He’s such a delight to have around and we’re happy that Faye can fit in some events around her busy working life. They did a super test, with just one pole SJ in their first 100 this season and a lovely clear XC to finish 8th.

Working Pupil Sophie Bragge had a great run on Britannia’s Pleasure and we are delighted with their first 100 together, finishing 8th in the GoBE100. Britannia’s Pleasure is now available for sale, ready to go and have some fun with a competitive rider.

It was a nearly perfect run for Agent WW (Hector) & Ellie but a silly spook in the SJ put him down the order. We were delighted with his confident second clear XC at BE100 though.

Last but not least, Working Pupil Lily Jones’ cool little mare Kiki had the most superb competition, in her first BE90 and third ever event, to take the win with Ellie who was riding while Lily is injured. Well done Kiki!

Thank you to Pete Collins for nipping our girls round the course early in the morning and for putting on a fantastic two days’ eventing!
