Ellie Fredericks

Rider

Having successfully competed up to Advanced and 4* level in the past three years, 21 year old Ellie Fredericks is turning her attention to the young horses in 2025, with her sights set on Le Lion Young Horse Championships with Upper Class Brit (Daisy) or her twin brother Upsi Britannia (Upsi).

Alongside Upsi and Daisy, Ellie will be competing new horse Agent WW (Hector), owned by herself & Liz Hills, and young project horse NSP Milan (Maynard) this season.

Highlights of Ellie’s career so far include completing her first 4* event at Bicton International on Lucinda’s stallion Britannia’s Mail and producing Pure Trendsetter (owned by Lucinda Fredericks and Liz Hills) from a raw 5 year old to achieve placings at Advanced level with the pair also representing GB at Le Lion Young Horse Championships in 2022 and the European Young Rider Championships in 2023 before Pure Trendsetter was forced to retire in 2024.

In 2024 Ellie introduced project horse Legende P (Leo) to the British Eventing scene, successfully producing him up to 3*L level with some excellent placings before selling him to an Olympic rider.

Ellie was honoured to be a member of the u21 British Eventing Youth Development Squad for two years from 2022 and has been invited to be part of the Howden Way training programme for a second year, with Upper Class Brit this year.

Ellie has found herself riding amongst some of the top riders in tough competitions and loves the challenges of working with young horses and sales liveries. It is testament to her hard work and dedication to the horses that she has progressed up the levels with each horse and enjoyed such superb results. Ellie is now actively looking for new rides to run at a high level.

Ellie is sponsored by Devoucoux, HUSK, Toggi, Gatehouse Hats, Jo Hansford Photography, Racesafe and Salute Equestrian.
